Panic Attacks & Stimulants

I was on adderall for about 3 years and it did exactly what it needed to do! Then everytime I took it, I would have a panic attack about an hour and a half after taking it. It also happened with energy drinks or anything with caffeine. So I completely stopped all types of stimulants. Now I'm at a point where I'm trying to get back on a medication for ADHD. My doctor recently prescribed me vyvanse at 20 mg, and again is causing me to have a panic attack. 

My question is, if I take an SSRI to treat the anxiety and panic attack will that help? Does anyone take an SSRI and Adderall/Vyvanse?

SSRI is used to treat anxiety and depression but it takes 4-6 weeks to feel the effect. And you may have different reaction when you take different SSRI so you need time to find the best meds for you . My experience is that I have tried 4 different types of SSRI until I find the best one for myself. Speak to your dr about it! Support 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
