Hello,
I hope someone can help me.
About 20 days ago I started feeling pain after sex.
I noticed part of glandis and foreskin (near frenulum) red, inflamed and swelling.
I thought the problem could be caused by:
hard and vigorous sexual acts (protected sex) I had in the previous days /weeks and/ororal sex I received (without condoms) with some girls in the previous days/weeks.
In the 1st case, the friction of sex could have irritated skin of my penis
In the 2nd case I guess the pain/red spots could be related to an infection (bacterial or viral).
The first doctor I visited (general practitioner) told me to apply CANESTEN CREAM and use CIPROFLOXACIN to treat urinary tract infections.
After 2 days I felt sick and pain in the testicles. Also the cream did not improve conditions of my penis.
So then I visited the urologist who told me to interrupt canesten and ciprofloxacin and to use a zinc oxide cream.
I applied that on foreskin and glandis. After 2 days the problem got worst because the cream was too thick and I felt pain just touching that area.
I called the urologist who suggested me to stop with that product and to use a cream that contained chlorhexidine.
After 1 week the problem was not solved.
The urologist suggested me to contact a dermatologist and that' s what I did.
He noticed just like a cordon in the foreskin, near the frenulum so He told me to apply advantan cream that is a
topical corticosteroid for 2 weeks.
Moreover the doctor prescribed echo to check the cordon.
The echo was negative.. Even if I was Said this examination is not complete. I should have done a penile ultrasound with penis in erection.
Now.. Next week i gotta go to the dermatologyst again but the situation is still bad.
Other info:
the pee is quite smelly.
I don't have any discharge from penis
I Abstained From Sex for 3 Weeks.
This morning after a shower I saw blood from the wound..
Any suggestion?
What do you think?
Thanks
Mark

Hi Male81, I think you MAY have a combination of different things going on here. Unfortunately the first lots of medication you received from medical professionals have not helped your skin wound to heal. Certainly what the GP gave you was based on an educated guess, not what was actually going on for your penis.
I think my approach would be to go to one of the major Sexual Health Centers, explain briefly what professionals you have already seen and that different medications have been tried and that 30 days on you now have an open skin wound.
Ask to speak to the senior members of staff as you feel you need this sorting properly once and for all …
