hi is anybody familiar with this Peyronie's disease. my doctor recommended to do xiaflex injection foes anybody know the results of this procedure or the side effects thanks
I’m in the same boat. I am currently investigating LI-SWT vs SWT vs Gainswave. I’m still looking for answers. I’m not convinced the injections are the way to go! My doctor doesn’t do any of the shock wave therapy treatments on the premise they don’t work! I’m not convinced they don’t work. SWT has been used for 20 years in Europe.
I am also In the same boat I have had Peyronie’s disease for a year now and have been trying desperately to find a way to cure it.
I’ve had some bad luck with a Urologist (took mouths to get appointment) who was only suggesting sugary but he didn’t recommend it as you can get a lot of complications and it may even make the problem worse and lose 1-2 Inches.
I then said to him I’ve heard of some other treatments (traction device, vacuum device, SWT, injections and sugary) but he said none of them are proven to work? But I’ve done some research yes theirs mixed opinions if they work but it dose look like some of the treatments work? But he didn’t want to offer me any other option so I’m now waiting for another appointment to come through so I can see another Urologist and hopefully he can help.
If I find a way to fix it from him I’ll let you both know.
