Physical Anxiety symptoms

I suffer from Anxiety and stress attacks around 2/3 a year. This time it has been going on for a few months now. Is it normal to have a flushed warm feeling red look around my face and neck ?. I'm embarrassed to go back to my doctor and ask as I seem to be there every other week and I don't really want to keep pestering him all the time.

thanks..

Yes, that happens to me.  You didn't say how old you were.  I have this problem with anxiety and menopausal symptoms.

I'm a 42 year old male. It's not helping that I have a few other problems going on in my. life just now. I've been like this for about 3 months. It looks like I've been in the sun all day and people are starting to comment on which Is not helping much.

Have you had your testosterone levels check lately?  This could have something to do with that.  Hormones, I've found, play a huge role in anxiety and physical symptoms.

I had them checked about 6 weeks ago for another health issue and they were all fine. Its just the ref warm feeling  always have is getting me down along with coming out in small itchy blotches every other day

Well that's great about your hormones!  Something to be really happy about! -- Do the blotches go away?  When I'm having anxiety, my face gets red, but goes away after awhile.

The itchy/blotches go away after a few hours but my face has had that flushed look for about 2 months now and it dosent go away at all. Sometimes its less sore looking but its always there

Hi I know how you feel Jediss. I feel embarrassed sometimes when I go to the doctor because i have to go so often., in fact quite often I make an appointment as I am leaving , for the next time! But you know some folk are blessed with good health and some are very unlucky -like us. Thats why I dislike the way sick folk are made to feel like nuisances by our present government. Please go to your doctor and find out whats wrong with your face. It could be something simple like an allergy or maybe something more like lupus? I dont know. But you wont get help until you do. Dont worry what he thinks so much. Its not our fault we have faulty bodies!!

Jediss...I totally think you need to go to docs.  I agree with Anne.  It truly sounds like an allergy...keep us updatedsmile

i would go back to your doctor but i wouldnt go alone but i know how you feel i find holding an ice pack helps me.

As Jacgualine says, take someone with you. I take my partner sometimes. Then I feel more at ease and also I feel doctor will listen more, not sure if i am being unfair to the doctor, but it helps how I feel.
