Pimples on Penis Shaft

Hi, I know people are going to say go see your gp etc but thought I'd try here first considering it's a visual that will probably help with identifying what the issue is.

The pimples are non-itchy and don't hurt. They seem to be the size of a pin head and there's approximately 10-15 spread over mainly the right side of my shaft. On the skin only. None on the head or anywhere else.

They don't squeeze like spots on your face but they do feel solid when I try.

If I'm allowed to upload an image and someone can explain how I will do so. (Don't want to offend anyone)

If someone can advise if I can and how I do it I'll put one up.

Could just be Fordyce spots, which are normal.

How long have they been there?  Are you sexually active?

Yes I agree with ml66uk - probably Fordyce Spots - something to do with sebaceous glands being more prominent. No treatment required, harmless.

They've just become pimples in say the last 2/3 weeks. From memory I used baby oil for lube for masturbation. They seemed to appear not long after that.

I am sexually active with a solo partner for 13 or so years.

I'm not sure they're anything to worry about, if they've only appeared in the last 2-3 weeks, I'd get them checked out by a doctor.

You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

Hey everyone who's following this / reading.

The spots have / seem to be subsiding. They are very much less prominent right now.

I'm going to watch what happens over the next week and then I'll be seeing a doctor if they don't reduce completely.

I'll check back and post an image in a weeks time to show. Hopefully, fingers cross they go away.

So I've still got the spots!  Not growing in size or number... strange because in the morning they seem tiny.. then as the day goes on they become more prominent.

Been busy and as they don't cause pain I've not seen the doc.. that and I'm a bit nervous about getting my spotted dick out to someone.  I know I know !! Don't lecture.. 

I'll get there eventually.. 

Started to wonder if it was warts but they just don't seem to be changing in size (getting bigger) and they're not bobbled/rough as such.  They're exactly like a spot but that never bursts or goes away.  

Was going to buy some wart remover just to test on the largest one. But then thought better of it. 

Need to bite the bullet and go see the doc I guess.

might be sebaceous prominence , which is nothing bad at all , google it

Sorry for the late reply, but I wouldn't try wart remover if I were you.  I suspect they're nothing to worry about, but I'd still get them checked out.

Hello everyone.  So the spots on my penis have finally cleared up.  Still have no idea what they were. 

They eventually came to a head and even though it’s advised not to, I scratched the tops off and then they scabbed and then healed very quickly.  Now think they where just really a mild version of molloscum contagium or how ever you spell it!  

Anyway much happier now and all cleared up. 

Incidentally the girlfriend hasn’t got a spot on her.
