Hi I'm on 150mg of setraline since Feb I'm miles bether than what I was I'm just still feeling the horribleness in the morning and some days throughout the day I get bouts of horrible feeling like depression but then I snap out of it
I'm a new mother to a 4 and half month old baby and I was diagnosed with pnd and anxiety just wondering wil this pass or am I expecting too much of myself too soon??
I think you should be kind to yourself. It will take time and your baby is only still very new. I think you're doing fantastically if you are managing to pull yourself out of it. Well done. You could always pop to your Drs but it sounds to me like you're doing a great job.
You are doing really well I'd say.....your own hormones are still having to adjust, as well as Sertraline trying to help you. Speak to your doc.....its best to put your mind at rest
From what you've described i think you are doing amazingly well and should be proud of yourself for all you have been able to handle in such a short time. i know that i wanted the sertraline to be a quick fix to my problems, unfortunately that is not how this medication works and you have to give it time and there will be Ups and Downs - as long as you can get through those days and enjoy the good ones you are working towards your end goal of recovery.
sounds like you have come a long way - hang in there and know that there are countless others in this community that understand what you are going through and have been through the same experience. We are here to support and encourage you.
I hope you have a better day today than you did yesterday. best of luck!
