I'm currently experiencing similar issues like you mention but obviously without a picture it's difficult to tell if it's similar to what you have. I would recommend seeing a doctor just for your own peace of mind as with anything that concerns you. I have like brown patches which don't seem to get any better or worse amongst other things and was told it's nothing to worry about after multiple visits to my local GP. It's more than likely just skin depigmentation as I was told and is common but please if you are worried don't do what I did and leave it and end up making yourself have anxiety over it. Get it checked out and put your mind at ease.
