please can someone help?

so im very confused i got gential herpes in january never been checked but i knew i had it ,,outbreak was horrific and iv had an outbreak since always gential i got these results today but im so confused at to what it means can someone help me please?

You have tested positive for:

- Herpes Simplex I antibodies

You have tested negative for:

- Herpes Simplex II antibodies

This result only demonstrates that you have the antibodies for Herpes Simplex I. This is a very common result and does not indicate that you require treatment - it only demonstrates that you have come into contact with the virus at some point.

It along with your outbreaks indicates that you have genital hsv 1.

It means you are infected with HSV1. Since you get genital outbreaks, presumably it's genital HSV1 that you have, although gHSV1 doesn't usually cause frequent outbreaks. If you want to double confirm things, get your next outbreak swabbed and typed for herpes.
