I am currently out of my home state and had to go to the ER last night. I’ve been feeling exhausted, not hungry, hard stool, not having to urinate in the mornings. I figured I was going into HYPO. I was diagnosed with graves 5 month ago and have been on Methimazole ever since.
My starting T4 was 2.47
The retest was 0.35
My thyrotropin was also 0.25
My ER doctors telling me to stop my medication abruptly and I’m terrified of going into thyroid storm.
I currently take Methimazole 3x a day 10mg each
What should I do?
