So I went to the doctors after sores started appearing on my genitals. Two weeks prior, I had a really bad foul fishy smell, but that was it. I wasn’t able to get it checked. After that, when I showed up at the doctors with the sores, I got that tested, but it came out negative for herpes but I had chlamydia. The sores have been uncomfortable and I also have light yellow discharge, what is it? I got the flu symptoms as well. I took my medication for chlamydia, but that is it. Is it possible its herpes?

was it a blood test they did or swabs for herpes. did you ask them to test for herpes because its actually not included in most panels. this does resemble a outbreak.
bacterial vaginosis is the cause of the fishy smell its a bacterial vaginal infection not an std its happens when the ph of the vagina changes u can buy over the counter remedies at the chemist or doctors can prescribe antibiotics it can csuse mild itching soreness or the outer vagina and a thin watery or thick fishy smell discharge
the discharge can be white or yellow or grey

Yeah, after I got my results I called asking what I was tested for, they said I was tested for HSV1 and HSV2, chlamydia and gonnehrea (don't know how to spell sorry). Everything but chlamydia came back negative.
i had the same thing i got tested twice culture and igg blood 4 months after . all test came back negative. but i did have a really bad yeast infection and chlamydia. after i took the medicine for chlamydia i felt relief literally the next day. they put me on valtrex before they found out i had chlamydia and that did nothing for me. but A severe yeast infection does cause lesions in some cases and also chlamydia causes lesions. and my partner did not have any sores ... tested negative for herpes , we still have unprotected sex until this day. He has not broken out or tested postive for herpes. and i havent broken out since either.
When did your sores go away? I took the chlamydia medication and I felt slight relief, but I still have the itchiness and sores. I'm glad I'm not alone!
5-7 days , but you will still see the scars for a min but they dont hurt or bother you anymore.

I just left my obgyn and im getting blood work now, she did a swab but i have to wait 3 days for the results! please tell me honestly if this looks like herpes to you .
