Thought was razor burn/ingrown hairs and am now going down a rabbit hole of anxiety. I had unprotected sex with someone 9 days ago. shaved a day before then and noticed some irritation from shaving quickly/ not with a new razor. noticed it looked a little infected so i had been putting antibacterial cream on for the past 4 days. now there are new bumps that are have been itchy. I have been wearing tight underwear and body suits so im not sure if its just a combo of irritation and bad shaving habits. please help, i wont be able to see a gyno till next week.

This is Herpes, no doubt about it. Thankfully, it’s not detrimental to your health but makes you more susceptible to possibly catching other STDS if exposed to it like HIV. I hope you inform your partner and practice safe sex in the future. Well wishes to you.
