Please help - is this herpes?

I’m in Asia currently and don’t have access to proper doctors. I’ve had a blood test taken but it won’t be back for quite some time. 

Last week I slept with someone for the first time in 6 months and unfortunately I was drunk and didn’t use protection. A few days later I developed what I thought to be razor burn but it didn’t go away, only got worse.

I’m very prone to yeast infections and utis so I thought maybe that could be the culprit but the more I google the more I’ve convinced myself I have genital herpes.

I feel absolutely horrible trying to imagine telling each person I want to be intimate with in the future “oh hey by the way I have genital herpes”. 

Before long you quickly become ‘herpes girl’ and I can’t bare the thought of it. So many negative connotations around one skin disease.

Anyway I’ve attached a photo below of what I believe to be genital herpes but am still not one hundred percent certain. No pain when urinating, no cold symptoms, some abnormal white discharge.

If this was a recent exposure and you took a blood test, I don’t see it showing results from this exposure. If this all happen within a week I think it would be a little soon to tell via blood tests. Usually there are time marks that people need to wait in order to get tested for certain STDs. And usually with herpes you get clusters of small pimples with clear liquid in them. Btw there was no picture with your post.

I can relate to it situation. But it's too early to check by blood. If you get a positive result from this test then most likely you had it from before this exposure. But it it's negative you have a bases to start. 12 weeks is the best time to check, most persons are positive by then. All the best.
