I was diagnosed with pleurisy a few weeks shoot felt like was getting better but 4 days later it's starting to effect me again. Can pleurisy return like that or could it be something else wrong with my chest? My d diamond blood test I had to was high it was on the thousands. Has anyone else ever had this?
A D dimer test shows whether you are at risk of blood clotting. A test in the thousands sounds as though you should be back with your doctor/consultant.
I had that test done then had to go back to hospital after I had a call for how high my results were they but because they couldn't find anything on my lung they left it they did give me another blood test and was still high but not as high so they haven't done anything since. But now I'm also starting to get the pains again in the right side of my chest
If you are getting pains again you should definitely get back to your doctor or consultant. The pleurisy may have returned or even a blood clot on your lung so dont delay,this urgently requires attention.
Thank you. I think I will def have to go back it's not as bad as it was when first started but I can feel it getting there
