I had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago bevause it was not functioning and it was inflamed. At about one week I started to get over pain and was feeling ok. However, I started having pain and in the last two weeks have gotten significantly worse with pain, fever, bloating. I just had an ultrasound which showed a pocket of fluid about the size of an egg where my gallbladder once was. The surgeon thinks this fluid may have become infe ted so now I am on Cipro for 10 days and I just had another HIDA scan done. Has anyone experienced any problems like this? Thanks in advance.

i was glad to be rid of mine and never experienced what you described or have I read anyone else on this site experience it.

Hi Beth I had my gallbladder removed in may and have lots of problems with excess gas but I had to have a stent put in I also have been having pain so I'm going for ultrasound next week incase I have something collecting also
Hi linda i was just about to post as anyone suffered with excess gas after gallbladder removed, I had mine removed in feb and have constant gas with no matter what i eat. My bm are usually loose too, Can i ask did you have a stent put in because of the gas ? my pain is usually all over the stomach but its more of a ache than strong pain, ive been tested for hpylori and gluten but all come back ok.
