Possible TMJ Disorder

Hello,

I have been experiencing what I can only explain as ■■■■ for the last 5 months. My doctor has misdiagnosed me several times so I finally went to a different doctor who is sending me for X-rays of my jaw. 

This surprised me because I have unusual side effects I didn’t know could be related. 

Here’s what’s going on.

Tension headache 

Numbness in my face

Clicking in my jaw when I open it

Dizziness/vertigo 

Neck pain 

Blurred vision

Sleep apnea 

And occasional shooting numbness and heaviness in my arms. 

Could this be TMJ Disorder? 

My doctor originally thought I had a brain tumor which was cleared with a CT so this seems very different, not that I would complain.  

Please help me if anyone has experienced this and let me know what I can do.

some of the symptoms relate to TMJ but I dont think the shootimg numbess in your arm does.  This is more serious and you need an MRI scan to see whats going on.  The CT scan would detect if you had a bleed or tumour but an MRI is better.
