have been prescribed prednidolone one a day for 5 days for nasal polyps, but second day, agonising pain urinating at bedtime and during night, 3rd day same but pain worse and bloody urine. seeing doc today. anyone else had this. worried and will not be taking it any more.
I’d be surprised if it were due to pred - more likely to be coincidence and you have a urinary tract infection. I take pred on an almost permanent basis - never had that and neither have any of the others on the same board.
Thanks for the reply. Yes i think it’s a UTI , I’m on an antibiotic but he’s taken me off the prednisolone and I’ve been fine so far. I do react very strangely to medications, and my bladder in particular is very sensitive.
