Prickling feeling in breast.

I have had a prickling feeling in my right breast for a few weeks.  It comes on sometimes when I move my arm.   I have had painful, lumpy breasts for years, and had a couple of biopsies which have shown normal breast tissue.   I haven't had the prickling sensation before, and wonder if it is anything to worry about.

Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Go and see yr doctor, it's prob nothing to worry about, r u checking yourself? I know that it's a thing to ask, prob something to do with yr hormones, and if you've got lumpy breasts,  please go bk to yr Dr and tell him/her about yr new symptoms,  it's better to b safe than sorry.

Hi Elizabeth.    You're right I should go and see my doctor.    I am checking myself.  I'm 68 so my hormones should have settled down.  If they ever do settle down.

Thanks for your reply.

Yr welcome my mam had lumpy breasts but wouldn't go and c her doc due to her nerves, sadly she found out she had breast cancer after finding a lump 5 yrs ago, she had her breast removed and all lymph nodes,  she never fully recovered and passed away last month,  so please go back to yr doc and tell them yr new symptoms.

Hi.   You very kindly answered my post when I was worried about a prickling feeling in my breast.    I did go to see my GP and was referred to the breast clinic.    I had a mammogram which didn't show anything, and then an ultrasound scan which showed some thickening in a milk duct.  I had a core biopsy which thankfully just showed normal breast tissue.   Phew!!!   Thank you again.

I'm sorry to hear about your  mam.
