I've been taking 40 mg of propranolol for migraines for about 7ish weeks now and I'm upping to 60. I know it takes about 5 weeks for propranolol to work but since I'm already on it, will I see how it works faster? Thanks for any replies (I know migraine dose is 80 mg but I am going up slowly because of side effects)
How long the medications take to adapt to your body, depends on how long you have been taking the medication before and the size of dosage. I wish you all the best, just take it slow and take your time before you withdrawal and speak to your doctor about progress.
