As anybody experienced any withdrawal symptoms when withdrawing from small doses?
Yeah for a few days.i had dizziness, nausea, a heavy chest and 'brain fog'
Did you notice any increase in anxiety?
Yes i did but it went away after a few days. How long have you been taking it for?
Ive been taking up to 40 mg for approx 3 months.... I am having intense vivid dreams and feeling quite panicky/anxious but derealisation too.Just wondered whether it was common withdrawal
I had bad derealisation too. It was awful but rest assured it goes away. I was on it for 9 months 40mg per day x
How long did it take you to get off of it? X
I had forgotten about the crazy dreams!
Are the crazy dreams withdrawal?? Im getting these alot!
It took me 2 weeks but now i feel normal and i havent taken it in 2 months x
How long did the derealisation last? It fightens me and causes anxiety!
I remember having them the whole time, kind of a side effect, I guess. It's been 6 years, so ...
I had previously posted that I found a magnesium/calcium supplement to be helpful for anxiety issues, but it was deleted by the moderator (maybe because I used a brand name? Dunno, as I wasn't promoting a website, nor do I sell it) Women under significant stress tend to be magnesium deficient. Anyway, the magnesium helps with stress, and sleep is much better. Like I said in the original post, it's best to research the most bio-available kinds.
Also, I found that reducing sugar intake was helpful with anxiety issues.
I know its horrid. I used to come home crying to my boyfriend about it and mine lasted 2 weeks and then the 2 weeks after that it leveled out Into a light headed feeling but that soon went away. I did take it for 9 months though. Glad i am off it now. What helped me was running. it used to create a lot of anxiety as the feeling of derealisation is horrible. X
I have just started to my told me to stop taking the tablets I was taking 20mg Ina morning then 20 at tea time but got a lot of chest pain cannot sleep at night so this morning hope it works out for me
I know this is an old thread but hoping somebody will still read my entry.
I was prescribed Inderal (Propanolol) 10mg twice a day for Palpitations. Been having bad side effects (muscle weakness, tiredness, crying spells, depression) so my Doctor said i can stop taking them. Im on day 2 of not taking them however im also experiencing bad withdrawal from it i guess. The weakness is worse yesterday, i feel like my head is empty and floating.. my legs are wobbly and I'm drowsy all day.
Anybody experience the same thing?
IF so how long will it last? I hate the feeling!
I have just stopped taking it 5 days ago.. no side effects... what i have got is energy to burn again thank god... and hopefully the weight i put on from it will come off too
I was on 80 mg 1x a day for at least 10 yrs. for migraine & HBP. I started weaning myself off them due to losing medical insurance &
my job. I've been so weak, tired, light headed & horrible stomach pains. I feel like a junkie going thru withdrawals. It's been 2wks. I hope this ends soon & I get my energy back. Best of luck to all going thru this.
