I had a total hip replacement 16 months ago and still having pain/ general discomfort. At my last check up they told me I had the above condition . It’s the first I have heard of this after problems since my childhood. Anyone else had the same diagnosis?
I’m Curiouse about the pain you have and where it hurts you? I had a posterior insision. I had my hip surgery Dec of 2017 am in pain when I bend down its when I come up that it’s severe or I sit wrong. it’s getting worse actually I hurt worse than before the surgery I am going out of town for a second opinion.. what can they do for you?
no solutions as yet just a diagnosis. seeing gp in two weeks
I’m 43 years old and was told a couple years ago that I have that in both hips, which is a congenital hip deformity. I havent had any hip replacements but read that this can also cause acetabular protusio. Hope you can find answers soon and feel better soon x
