That’s why i was Rxd the prozac. so im looking for some insight & some success stories of people taking it for just that. Im curious to how long it took to feel some relief from the terrible intrusive thoughts?
thank you for sharing your story. I have tried a few different medications, the one I feel helped most with OCD was Lexapro. I love Prozac but to me, it made me more hyper and compulsive. The Lexapro, for lack of better words, chills me out. Also, Lexapro has fewer side effects.
I was just prescribed low dose Prozac… for anxiety, depression and OCD. My Doc/shrink felt it would be better than Lex… with fewer side effects… but he is having me start very slow, 10mg 2-3X/week and increase as necessary…
Lex gave me and many others anxiety attacks… common and they probably go away… but some say they last for many months… jeeze!
