Hi everyone, I am a young 20’s male, with PVCs since ~14 years old. In December I had my second ablation for PVCs with great success – on a follow-up holter I had a statistically insignificant number of PVCs. In my typical days (including 3-mile runs, pull-ups, jump-rope exercises, etc.) I hardly ever notice any PVCs at all. However, I have noticed that if I get sick and/or am not able to sleep well, I sometimes feel my heart whaling away the next day. For the past 4-5 days I’ve not been feeling well (tired, muscle ache, constipation, and feeling very warm – but no fever) and also gotten poor sleep (wake up constantly in the middle of the night). Concomitantly I’ve experienced a significant return of my PVCs for these 4-5 days to the point where sometimes when just sitting and eating I will need to lie down because I feel some heavy palpitations. As I’ve recovered from my illness, I have been expecting the PVCs to go away but I have not seen any such luck. Does anyone share these experiences, and if so, do you have any thoughts? I just e-mailed my doctor to talk about this.
