I’m so sick of the constant dizziness I feel is coming from the Lexapro so I want to wean off of it. I’ve been on it for 3 months. How can I do it? And has anyone weaned off of it successfully??
Hi Hayley, I was on it for 3years I stopped cold turkey ,I was getting electric shock sensations on and off with anxiety, but after a week side effects started wearing off and started feeling better in myself, so looking back I found it not to bad ,you should not have any problems with being on it such a short time ,what strength are you on ?
20mg. Did it make you feel dizzy a lot?
Hi Hayley, yes it can do but anxiety can also make you dizzy, if I was you I would get doctors advice as he may change to a different med, or you can stop the ecitalopram for a few days to see how you feel ,if you do want to stop this med you should be ok with only being on it for 3 months or you can cut tablet in half then after a week just stop .
