I am 22 years old, i have been drinking for a few years, always in moderation, and rarely more than once a month. About 8 months ago I had stopped drinking, not really on purpose but it just didn’t come up. I have tried to drink 4 times within the last 2 months and every time i get nauseous, very warm, and my feet become hot and red. I have no other symptoms of an alcohol allergy. I have gone from having a about four beers, which is normally a nice buzz for me, to becoming sick off of just one. I have tried wine and liquor as well with the same results. About 8 months ago I changed my diet to cut out energy drinks and soda, and only drink water or some juices, I also started counting calories and protein intake to gain more weight. I was hit by a car about 4 months ago, but only had a broken arm. Could my sudden intolerance be anything other than a newly acquired allergy?
