Red areas on pubic hair area

ive noticed these red spots in my shaving area .. i used to shave real close but not anymore but since then these red spots appeared in the area. what might these be ?

I agree, they look like molluscum contagiosum, a viral STD (Google).

I think you may have inadvertently spread the infection from close shaving. You can continue trimming the pubic hair with clippers or scissors but I’d get them checked and treated. And don’t forget to get yourself and your partner screened for other STDs.
