Does anyone know what these red blotches on my nose are? They have been present for around 2 years and whilst the vary in intensity they are always there. My doctor has prescribed Daktacort but the improvements are negligible.

Looks like Rosacea or permanently dilated blood vessels. I would discuss with your doctor and consider taking doxycline (it has an anti-inflammatory effect) for a while to see if they improve.
If that doesn’t work, then consider laser treatment or IPL to destroy the blood vessels underneath.
