it's been 6 months roughly.
I have tried topical cortisone creams/ anti fungal creams which seem to make it angrier.
I've tried washing it with sea salt water which seems to help but it comes back.
I've tried Vaseline, I've tried using nothing at all only water to wash.
no smell, no sores, just an itchy, tender foreskin.
STD test was negative.
if I let it dry right out it appears to have stretch marks in the skin, the skin feels thinner than normal and it's a little flaky/powdery looking.
has any one have any idea what this is??
You have to visit a dermatologist soon. Does your foreskin narrowing?
I wouldn’t say narrowing. but it seems because it’s inflamed the skin is tighter somewhat. but not so the foreskin is closing up or hard to pullback or roll forward. it’s just itchy.
I went to the doctor and he said it didn’t look like an infection of sorts and gave me pimofucort creme, but it didn’t do anything. I’m thinking I might ask to get referred for circumcision because I’m just over it.
what do you think it is?
It looks like a lichen, but you have to do to a good dermatologist that is capable to recognize it, cause a lot of doctors are not able, if so, you should go for a circumcision. Do you have problems on glans too?
it has been on and off with the glans, initially the Corona was quite dark, purplish.
also funny sensations, at time the glans would go red and i thought perhaps it was a reaction to laundry powder, so I changed that no change. currently the glans seems fine.
