I am involved with the most sincere, honest man. So honest, that he told me on our first date that he contracted HSV 2 twenty years ago. I chose to continue dating him and have no regrets. We’ve been sexually involved for two months. We’ve had no problems until this week. We had sex a few times on Tuesday, no problem. Then Thursday I started with pain on my “hood”. Soon to follow, pain all around my labia. Friday the pain and itching was so severe that I was nauseous. Heres a picture from Friday.
You can see that my hood is swollen but nothing is too bad. Then I took this picture Saturday afternoon

Now im seeing little red, open sores. And the pain and burning kept getting worse. Heres a picture from Saturday evening

Last night was the most pain and discomfort I have ever been in. I am still nauseous and feeling really run down. Can anyone tell me their honest opinion. Just confirm my suspicions.

Hi, sorry looks like it is herpes. you have all the symptoms unfortunately. Feeing sick like the flu, severe pain and itch. Hopefully they can perform a swab test as the blood test may be to early to test for now.

My gyno is positive that I have HSV. I will get the results in a couple of days. She wrote a script for Valtrex and told me that sitz baths and lidocaine is good for relief.

I have the same thing and they told me nothing serios , I did a blood test after 21 days and came back negative. I did it again today which is now after 33 days and im waiting for my result.

still pending need to see the doctor to tell me, how about u did you get your result

not yet and the office is closed today for independance day. But after the valtrex, I am 99.9% better. Thankfully!

pretty confident you also got HSV2 from him. if you both have it, no worries. get some antiviral medication to help with the pain and it will decrease flare ups. its a common thing, dont panic
