I’ve had redness in this area of the tip of my penis for a while now.
The doctor thought it was ‘Zoon’s Balantitis’ and prescribed me a steroid ointment for it. The ointment seemed to improve the appearance of it, but once I stopped using it, the head became blotchy all over. Part of the issue with it is that since ointment is oily, to remove it I need to use a lot of soap, which irritates it more.
I’m worried that the doctor has misdiagnosed it, and it could be something more serious like herpes or syphilis. If anyone has experienced anything similar or has an idea of what it might be, please let me know! Any thoughts would be appreciated.
