So for a few months now I've had this lump/hardness that comes and goes. One minute it won't be there, and the next I'll be feeling my abdomen and it will be there. It's a hardness just above my pubic bone (just above the hair, sorry if tmi) and when I press on it sometimes it makes me need to pee. I had a scan for it and the doctor said it was nothing to worry about and that I should get my hormones checked, but it's still coming and going and I'm slightly worried. Any ideas?? Thank you
What tests were done and what were the results?
They did an ultrasound scan and the results were that "nothing was there" and it was nothing to worry about!!
Was the ultrasound a pelvic scan? What about asking to see a gynaecologist?
Well it was of my lower abdomen and pubic area and then my kidneys and she said that there was nothing there and and she was right on the lump, I can feel it! And no not yet, should I?
If you are worried, it may be worth seeing a gynaecologist.
Possibly a hernia. Hernia's are very difficult to show on a test. I had ultrasound. MRI CT scan and they don't always show up. As they often disappear when lying down. I had to have a specific hernia scan to diagnose a femoral hernia.
I was thinking it was a hernia but when I brought it up to the doctor she said I was "too young for a hernia"?? I'll ask them for a specific hernia scan and hopefully that can help me out. Thank you
