so i have posted on here before; ive had red spots / bumps on my penile glans for about month and sometimes red irritated foreskin. went to the doctors last week, he took a brief look and said it is balanitis/ yeast infection. prescribed me oral antibiotics and the itchiness on the foreskin completely went away, but these bumps / red spots are still on my glans. does anyone have any idea what these are or if they are just a part of the yeast infection? im on my 4th day post visit and i would think these would go away but have not. thanks for any input

Symptoms only persist if the cause of them have not been fully addressed. What a Doctor will often do is give a medication based on what the most likely cause is that they suspect you MAY have. They are well aware that if the cure has not been given on the first consultation, they hope to get closer to an actual cure on subsequent occasions.

Did you get these details and have you tried any of the broader issues i suggest you need to address?
I am not sure whether you have seen any other Medical Professionals regarding this prior to your most recent Doctor’s visit? If these have been in place for a month then they are unlikely to clear completely after 3 days as I would suspect the antibiotic course was either for a week or 2 weeks - whatever the case, you need to take them all. …
