What did your doctor tell you. From what I read on this and the other men on here It takes 3 to 6 month's to see results. Good luck Hope your lucky with the other side effects Be well Ken
The steam kills some of the excess cells off, but then the body has to heal by sloughing those cell off. It may be that there are some men that take longer than others.
what does Doc say when you ask him if you should be seeing better results by now?
Did you have any pain during the procedure? And, do you now have any pain with this frequent urination?
I am no now 7 month’s post Rezum and have had no change in nighttime urination. I’m also suffering from retrograde ejaculation and blood clots in my urine. I’m seeing another urologist tomorrow. Needless to say I am not a Rezum success story. I hope you care better. I’ve heard that maximum benefits sometimes take six months. In my case it just got worse I’m sorry to say.
Urgency can be a side effect of Rezum for awhile. Is your stream better? You're just at the beginning of when things might get better - earliest is a month and most of the improvement comes in weeks 6-12. you may have some blood for 2-3 weeks in your urine that's normal too.
It should also be noted that there are other things besides BPH that can keep you going all night. Overactive bladder and nocturia are two of the more common ones. Did they scope you prior to the procedure to confirm a prostate obstruction?
Hi Tanak, Did you have complete urine retention? No natural void?Perhaps this is the reason your getting up so much after Rezum? Was this procedure very difficult?
