Hi,
I usually don’t mind trips to the dentists chair but i have a lower wisdom tooth that i’m thinking of having a root canal on? this is mainly due to having lost a fair few molars and the one in front of it is also deeply filled.
Firstly for me the worry is being sat in the chair for so long during root canal and the other question is, even though they numb your tooth and gums surely when they drill through and remove the pulp/nerve this will hurt?
Never had a root canal but pretty much had everything else but really need to start saving the teeth i have left . any offerings of support or wisdom will be greatly appreciated
Hi well my experience is ive had 3 root canals i can honestly say i felt nothing much, wasn’t till i had a check up i discovered i had 3 thought it was 2. Id rather have root canals then no teeth there at all. Hope this helps.
No that makes sense, thanks Susan
