Ive been back from my hol about 2 weeks now and I'm happy to say I coped quite well.I did have 2 or 3 incidents where I needed the loo about 3 times in 1 hr but managed this by getting up very early (4.00 am) they do call you early anyway for the morning drives 5 30 ., I couldn't have managed this if it wasn't for the Imodium which I took every day.Im now back home and my GP says to try without it,I will do as he says but I know all my problems will return ,has anyone tried the Heathers Tummy Fiber which is primarily for IBS ?

Hi , glad you had a nice trip. I havent tried the Fiber however was wondering what you would normally be like with DD. I was diagnosed about 3 years ago and things are seem to be going worse rather than better. The constant loo visits are everyday and I have had 3 lots of antibiotics in the last few months. I have constant bloating and tummy/back pain. Been prescribed  Tramadol which I think docs thought would stop the losse bowels but no .

My doctor just prescribed Metamucil every day. It is a fiber capsule.

Hi Caroline,I'm on the Fybogel powder twice a day but Im still very loose,as soon as I wake up I go on a morning then it gets looser as the day goes on,I get pains and cramps on either side and eventually feel sick and loose my appetite , but taking the Imodium makes me feel more normal,it doesn't cure everything but the pains are a lot less I have only 1or 2 B M and my appetite returns.I saw the Heathers Tummy fiber on the internet nd just thought I would try it ,it should arrive after the bank holiday so I will see how I do with it then.Im also trying the new liquid probiotic which you have to take for 12 weeks which isn't working as of yet.
