I just went for a checkup yesterday and my GP freaked out when she saw I was due to have a followup ultrasound fpr an ovarian cyst they discovered in August last year.
In the report it says 37×29×25mm unilocular cyst with a small thin focus of increases echogenicity at the periphery, possibly due to calcification. To follow up in 3 months.
I had a dermoid cyst many years ago, could this be the same? I am terrified of ovarian cancer. Has anybody had cysts withthese characteristics?
