Can anyone help I'm going out of my mind, so on Sunday night I ended up in a and e, with excruciating pain in my abdomen it was worse the actual.labor pains it was absolutely awful I was sick from the pain, anyway hospital took urgent blood tests including my crp levels, everything came back normal apart from crp so they then did another blood test which shows infection which I had it is meant to be 1.8 bit mine was 2.2 so doc had me have a xray of the chest and abdomen.. the xray shown absolutely nothing on both. everything was how it should be. so I we aren't home, bit I've convinced myself I've got cancer or some horrible disease.. as anyone been like this before?? I really need calming down tia xxx
so you do have an infection? Are you taking antibiotics?
and everything else was normal right? I’m just wondering if the pain is from the infection.
i don’t think you have some horrible disease because something would have shown up more in the bloodwork and x-rays.
When do you see your doctor next?
try to relax. Nothing terrible was found. You’re going to be OK. If you need to calm down there are some great mindful meditations on YouTube for anxiety. They really help!
so stay positive, stay busy, go to your follow up appointment, and keep your mind on other things. You’re OK. 
Thankyou for replying, they sent me home with absolutely nothing,just said to keep taking my paracetamol, not to eat certain foods and drink certain things. i don’t even have a follow up appointment. so I’m just like huh?? xx
