Second time on setraline it's my 3rd day I feel horrible

So this is my second round of setraline. I went off it for six mouths then seriously out of nowhere I'm having panic attack and severe anxiety. The dr has put me on 100mg of setraline straight away. It's my Third day and I feel terrible. My moods are up and down literally every few minutes I just want to hide away. I'm also really dizzy. I can't remember being mike this last time I think maybe because I was on 50mg and slowly went to 100mg. I just feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel and I'm finding it difficult to stay positive. Any advice would be great.

All what you feel is normal when you start med. However, your dose is really high to start with and i dont blame you writing about it in here. Contact your doctor and tell him or her to cut the dose in half and to take 50 for at least couple of weeks then to go up to 100.

I am in my 2nd time of seroxat and my target dose is 40 and i started in Dec and just reached my target doce 3 weeks ago.

Hi nickerz

It could be the high anxiety and panic that is contributing to the dizzyness as this isba very common physical symptom with anxiety.

If you think you would be better starting back on  the lower dose .. are they the ones that have a line in that you can break into half? if not go back to your doctor and ask for the lower dose to start up with.

Maybe you need to be on them longer if your anxiety came back after 6  months. so discuss this too.

There are lots of coping skills that you can use in the meantime to help you through the startup up.

Stay positive and i hope you get some respite soon. xx

Are you feeling any better on the higher dose mendoza? Hope so 😊

Side effects are almost gone. Still insomnia is there but i think it will get better, i hope it will .....

Anxiety and depression wise... My depression is almost gone but the anxiety still there. Dont get me wrong, my anxiety nowhere near as before. I am still anxious but i am at work now and i was agoraphobic and still but not that bad. Still not driving but will work on that. At work i get sweat and feeling like faint and my head gets wierd but i believe the more i do it the less anxiety will be.

I hope i will overcome my anxiety and i am in the right path ... Thanks for asking 😊

Your welcome..

The weird head is a battle on its own isnt it.. foggy , dizzy, heavy, keep up the good work though your doing good xx
