Just wondering whether I can drink alcohol on sertraline? Iv been 50mg daily for about 2 weeks now. Not intending on getting drunk but just want to see how the effects are on other people first. Thanks x
It reacts differently with different people. I wouldn't say it's the best idea, one drink shouldn't hurt. But as soon as you have one drink you may get anxious and start thinking about symptoms and they appear? Since you've only been on it for 2 weeks maybe learn to work with and cope with the tablets before you drink alcohol, that's just my opinion xx
I do not know if it will affect you as long as you do not fear of symptoms showing up which means you should probably be fine if knowing that drinking won't affect you in anyway.
I have drank before with these tablets and was fine. I used to have a bottle of wine on a Saturday night and Was no different to any other time xx
