Sertraline and antibiotics

Hi.

want a bit a advice really.

iv been in bed since Christmas Day with a chest infection,

i am now coughing up green mucus, 

can I have antibiotics with sertraline, iv read that when on sertraline we can only take certain ones

I feel so poorly and washed out,

Hi Julie, have you been prescribed any antibiotics already? I previously had a course of metronidazole antibiotics which were fine to take along with my Sertraline. Best to check with your GP but he/she shouldn't prescribe anything that won't work with your Sertraline.

since iv been on sertraline I’m very cautious what I take with them. 

I havnt taken anything other than parcetomol every 4 hours. 

i really don’t have a lot of faith in some of my gps that’s why iv ended up on these for  

Heath Anxiety.
