Sertraline withdrawl

I stopped taking sertraline 4/5 days ago. Yesterday and today I feel dizzy and very sleepy. Is this normal?

How long were you on the medication?

Stopping cold turkey can be dangerous and cause lasting damage to your nervous system, to prevent this follow the 10% tapering method. You will find details if you search this site under 'sertraline withdrawal, does it go away'.

Can I ask what are these dangerous side effects or long lasting problems that you can get? So far I've come up empty. Is there a "life after Sertraline" forum to see how people are living now not on any drugs?

Since early January 2015. x

Thank you x

Yes, search under the title I gave in my previous post, plenty of info on there.

Don't want to worry you but the fact is some people who can off too quickly are still suffering withdrawals ( that can often mimic a relapse of original problem) years after discontinuing sertraline.

Go to the thread on this site Sertraline withdrawal does it go away.

thanks will do

I  tried to copy and paste the link but it wouldn't work this time.

Well I`m back on the sertraline and feeling back to `normal`.

hey, hopefully you are not too disappointed taking sertraline again  ....  it sounds like you didnt really fancy taking them anymore then?
