I am not sure if I have a cut from shaving or it is herpes. I didn’t think it was herpes until I described the symptoms of my gyno. I saw the gyno on Thursday ( march and she did say it looked much better when she compared it to the pictures of its progression.
It still seems to fluctuate in the redness/inflammation. Another thing she said was it could be contact dermatitis too. Like since the “bad cut”, it will be super red and inflammed one day then go down a couple days later. Then it happens again.
I don’t have any allergies and I am not sure what it can be from. I’ve been taking extra precautions to make sure I am cleaning properly.
I have not been sexually active in over 6 months so I was confused as to how it can be herpes. Like this has never happened before and started after I shaved my pubic area. There is no bleeding or any sort of “pus” either. The it is not painful per se, it just causes itchiness in the cut area and only burns when I pee.
I don’t have any other symptoms of herpes like fever, chills, swollen nymph nodes. There is no discharge or weird smell either.
You know how you get a papercut and when it is healing it feels itchy?? it is similar to that or it burns when it comes into contact with soap, lemon juice or something?
That is exactly what it is. It was completely red and swollen near the vaginal hole/urethra. This has never happened before when I’ve shaved.
