also including this to make sure its normal
I must admit your penile skin looks normal to me. I have had fordyce spots since I was 13 and my skin is lot more marked than yours looks from the photos. I wouldn't think tight foreskin issues would have anything to do with this either. It's something I also suffered with until my late twenties and had nothing to do with my fordyce spots on the shaft.
thank you. I find your response reassuring. I've managed to book another GUM assessment, but will probably be wasting their time. I've attached some new photos, closer up. What was causing your foreskin tightness, do you know? Did you have redness etc?
So you have had exhaustive STD tests and they all show negative - this should reassure you that there is no possibility of something like genital warts - and no, what I can see looks nothing like Genital Warts. When you go to the GUM Clinic get them to explain what a breakout of Herpes and other genital warts actually looks like - also ask, if you were a carrier of either Herpes strain what that would look like. Detail the semi-circle that you get and ask them to explain what is going on when these occur. You also need to emphasise that these issues have been happening for around two years and that if there is any infection present, such as a fungal or even bacterial infection, currently, this needs to be fully eradicated so that you become symptom free. It may be possible that they suggest to achieve eradication that your partner may need to get checked in case that is the source of reinfection, basically each time you sexual contact with them
If you have had GUM tests and they have all come up negative you really won't have anything to worry about. The penis is like any other part of a human, they come in all shapes and sizes, spots and marks are common on them. My tightness was a problem from a young age and took years of stretching to fix the problem. Unfortunately the balanitis this caused has scarred my glans but I just see it as part of me, it doesn't bother me at all.
I think I should probably think more like you! I have scarring on my foreskin at the side, where it pulls back, which I think came from a bit of this, but not sure. It's the spots that appear and disappear that freaks me out!
It may seem strange but you usually find that spots and bumps on your penis that worry you, nobody else ever really notices or says anything about. When I was younger I was obsessed that other people who saw my penis would think it was disgusting as its completely covered in fordyce spots but nobody takes any notice. A couple of times when I asked them if they'd noticed them they said yes but took no notice. I was worrying over nothing!
