So i’ve been on Sertraline 50mg for 6 weeks (friday just gone) whilst my anxiety has massively improved i just feel so low, have motivation or joy in anything. Has anyone else experienced this? I dont know if i need to increase or give it a few more weeks. Thank you x

i have upped my meds from 50 to 75 and now im on 100mg and have no regrets. i was like you feeling better with each upped dose but not where i felt i should be.

Do you think you’ll increase further than 100mg? I just made a post wondering about increasing my dose. Feeling indecisive. Each increased dose for me felt better too but I feel like I’m not where I should be.
Hi Lauren, I’d stick it out a little longer. I didnt feel many effects at all till around the 12 week mark!
The lack of motivation and pleasure in things is unfortunately a side effect of anti depressants. Whilst all the bad things get taken away we lose some of the good things too! What youre feeling I’ve had too as would pretty much anyone taking sertraline.
