Hi I have had eye redness and aching behind the eyes for a while now, went to see an opthamologist who couldn't see anything wrong with the health of my eyes, it was only when I started getting post nasal drip that I thought maybe it wasn't sinus related, sure enough as soon as I started with a Neti pot and going down the sinus route I started to see an improvement, however my eyes still aren't 100% and I am still getting aches in my face and my head feels so heavy, does anyone have any advice on how to relieve sinus pressure?? Hi, I have had for months a left eye problem related to sinus issues it seems - waking up with a very sore, watery eye. As that's the side where I've had tooth issues and where a nasal spur is, it kind of makes sense. Optician thought that too. I'm on a waiting list to have sinus surgery done, three years now! Also, although I never have nasal discharge, I get it when this eye thing, blow my nose and it comes out of the left nostril.

Oh my goodness. Please tell me if you've felt any relief. I have the worst pain right underneath my eyebrows in the corner of my eyes. It won't quit! I cannot concentrate at work. I also have a 2 year old at home. I'm on the verge of tears. I'm getting nervous something is wrong.
Hallo Dana, ich hoffe, du hast etwas Linderung für den Schmerz in deinem Auge gefunden. Auch ich leide unter diesem schrecklichen Schmerz. Ich habe ihn seit meinen 27 Jahren immer wieder, aber seit Mai ist er ständig da, zusammen mit einem ständigen Kopfschmerz, der einfach nicht nachlässt... Am Ende habe ich eine MRT bezahlt, die eine chronische Nasennebenhöhlenentzündung diagnostiziert hat. Mir wurden zwei Wochen Antibiotika verschrieben. Ich bin jetzt am vierten Tag und mein Kopfschmerz ist etwas besser geworden, aber dieser Augen Schmerz ist immer noch derselbe.
Ich kann mich bei der Arbeit auch nicht konzentrieren. Es übernimmt wirklich alles, oder? Meiner ist mein linkes Auge, direkt darüber, in der Nähe der Ecke unter meiner Augenbraue. Es ist wie ein dumpfer Schmerz.
Es ist ziemlich beängstigend.
Mine is left as well, that's the side of rhe nasal spur. Also on antibiotics too at the moment, doxycycline. What are you on? Not a long term solution of course

Der Nasenstachel? Davon habe ich noch nie gehört. Mir wurde Amoxicillin Augmentin 3 Mal pro Tag für 2 Wochen verschrieben. Ich glaube, es ist ein Antibiotikum der letzten Wahl, da die Dame sagte, dass es danach keine andere Tablette mehr gibt. Es ist keine langfristige Lösung, aber ich denke, sie hoffen, dass es meine Infektion heilen wird.... aber bisher hat es noch nichts gebracht.
Wirken deine Antibiotika?
Der Neurologe, der meinen CT-Scan überprüft hat, sagte, dass es sich um einen Rückstand einer Erkältung handelt, der die Infektion verursacht hat. Ich hatte letzten Winter mehrere schlimme Erkältungen, aber ich hatte nie das Gefühl, verstopft oder erkältet zu sein, weshalb ich die Augen Schmerzen und die starken Kopfschmerzen nicht auf die Nasennebenhöhlen zurückgeführt habe.
Hast du eine Idee, was deine verursacht?
Das ist in Ordnung mit dem Antworten. Es ist schrecklich und hilft, wenn jemand anderes weiß, was du durchmachst.

Oh, wie schrecklich... 3 Jahre. Du musst extrem frustriert sein. Gibt es Anzeichen dafür, dass sie es bald tun?
Well it was my teeth on that side first for years, even during root canal they had to stop because of the pain as they didn't know I had a pretty much constant sinus infection. This year rhe eye on that side started. It's like I wake up with a painful feeling of being poked and my eye waters, it's awful, first thought it was conjunctivitis as red sometimes but chemist said it shouldn't hurt. Then the optician said the same as the denist - it's your sinuses! The bane of my life.
I would get the optician to give you the all clear. Also push for a camera endoscopy, ir may be just viral due to the cold but seems a long time for that? Could even be polyps or allergies. I felt better knowing what it was as it explained things to me, others just don't understand as it's a hidden, chronic condition

Es ist offensichtlich alles miteinander verbunden, aber ich weiß nicht, wie.
Es ist eine chronische Erkrankung. Es ist absolut schrecklich. Ich hoffe, die Antibiotika wirken bei dir.
