Hi ladies I feel so hopeless with this headache, its constantly there, it affects my life so much. Its making me anxious and kind of depressed. Went for xrays last week and doctors says its sinus inflammation, howeverthey gave me antihistamines tablets, i also have high blood pressure so cant take some types of headache medication. Does anyone have this symptoms and how do you cope? Please share some advice. Thanks ladies. Kdj
Hi Kadija, I read your message thinking this sounded similar to the headaches I have been having. I havent had an xray or anything but I initially thought it was sinus related but now I am not so sure. The headaches are there everyday and despite using various meds, they don’t really disappear and I started to wonder if they are related to perimenopause.
Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear your having bad headaches too, I get the headaches nearly everyday. It started in 2017 when i started perimenopause it wasnt so bad then, but this year ive missed a few periods and this headache is constant, the xrays also revealed i have mild bone degenerative in my neck, doctor says its cervical spondylosys, im currently doing physiotherapy for the neck pain. This headache and pains makes my anxiety sky high, im really scared being alone, ive read perimenopause can give bad headaches. I hope and pray our symptoms gets better.
I have been having sinus issue as well, especially the nasal congestion and headache. I feel my allergies are worse this year. I take Zyrtec and use Flonase. They help a little but I do believe it’s part of peri symptoms.
