Hello,
I've been having some small painless white spots on my penis. These are on both the trunk and the tip. I've been having these for almost two months now. They're not a problem at all, but I fear they might be later. Some weeks ago, the skin on the tip of my penis was scaled too, but now there are only those spots. I used a tetracycline ointment at some point, but no effect. Does anyone know what this condition is and whether it is a fungal or bacterial disease? What should I do? I'd appreciate any advice.
Look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Navid
hi,
i think you should consult the doctor for proper treatment.
They are probably Pearly Penile Papules. Absolutely nothing to worry about as they pose no health risks and will not cause any pain or irritation. They are quite common with about 20% of males in the UK developing them. It is possible to have the papules removed as a cosmetic procedure but I doubt the NHS will fund it. You would have to find a dermatologist and pay up front unless you have private medical insurance.
To set your mind at rest, by all means visit your doctor who is likely to say the same.
Christopher
Thank you very much for your reply. As you said, they are harmless and they are gone now. So there is nothing to worry about anymore. Thanks again!
I'm very pleased and I wish you well!
