I have a small circular purple spot on side of forehead and I wondered what it could be?
Dr not sure, thinks it might be a burst capillary?
How long have you had it Fred? If you have had it all your life its probably a naevus but if it has developed later in life then yes, your doctor is probably right about it being a tiny burst capillary just under the skin. Not a problem if you only have the one, but if you get more and more anywhere on your body you should see your doctor for a blood test.
