Posting in in this group because of some personal fears ( most leading to the potential fear of it being something WORSE... )
I'm prone to getting fairly severe sunburns if I'm out for even short periods of time, given I'm extremely pale... while the burn itself is starting to heal ( getting to the stages where it peels, yknow? ) what I'm worried about is small bumps, kind of the size of pin-pricks, that are raised and red. They're only scattered very briefly in places where I did burn, along with yellow bumps, but I'm not sure how concerned I should be about them...
Hi mcncheri.. Nothing to be concerned about.. Just your typical sunburn. Good hint that does work, apply a ripe tomato over burn. Surprinsingly, it really does help ease the burn. A friend who is a diver passed this tip on. Ive tried it & others swear by using this method. Relax, all good. Keep a good sunscreen with you in future, dark skin or light. The sun has some bite to it regardless.
Would that method also help heal what I'm only assuming to be 'sunburn blisters'? This is my first time getting those, as far as my knowledge goes w/ it, and the one small swollen red spot is causing a bit more anxiety than needed. Thank you so much for replying!!
Yes, this method would help with sunburn blisters mcncheri.. If divers & fishermen resort to this tomato rub, its good for all.. Ive tried it & I promise it will help you also.. The earlier you can put it on, the better you will heal.. It does also take away that awful pain associated with sunburn
