I have a very small rash at the bottom of my testicles as well as the groin area around the testicles. It's a little red and it itches from time to time.
Can anyone recommend me any creams or something to buy at the pharmacy to get rid of this rash? Thank you.
You could try a mild 1% steroid cream but not for too long. Its essential to keep the area clean and dry so if you are overweight and have some fleshy folds that doesnt help. Also dont wear any pants at night. Also only 100% cotton pants,not nylon,lycra or polyester,and wash them at a high temperature. If you are hand washing them try pouring boiling water over them as the final rinse.
To add to Marina Dee's post, you could try Clotrimazole HC, which is an anti fungal with hydrocortisone cream that you can buy over the counter. The brand name is Canesten HC

La teigne est due à une infection fongique superficielle appelée dermatophytes. Les dermatophytes sont causés par la Tinea Cruris... qui a été connue sous le nom de verrues dans le passé. Le terme verrues ne convient pas car l'agent causal n'est pas un ver, mais plutôt un champignon.
La teigne est associée à une transpiration excessive et au frottement des cuisses internes avec le scrotum dans la région de l'aine. C'est pourquoi elle est plus fréquente dans des conditions de chaleur et d'humidité excessives.
Elle peut également être causée par une utilisation prolongée de stéroïdes.
Peut-être pourriez-vous essayer la crème antifongique Clotrimazole.
Et suivez définitivement les suggestions de Marina Dees concernant les sous-vêtements que vous portez et comment les nettoyer... définitivement 100% coton pour toujours car le coton absorbe l'humidité et respire... les autres matériaux retiennent simplement la chaleur et n'absorbent rien.
