Also.......I loved not wearing socks for quite a while but as I got walking for longer distances, I needed my runners on. It would start to hurt my feet if I just walked in slip-ons or sandals. Plus wearing runners with socks made me start feeling like a normal person again! It is more difficult.....I tie my shoes loosely when they aren't on me and then use the long shoe horn to put them on. It seems to work ok.
I wear the same kind of sock when I wear my running shoes. I've managed to use my grabber. I use the grabber part to get it over my toes and then there's a little piece that sticks out like a hook but straight that I hook onto the heel of the socks and pull them on. It works pretty well.
